If I hide some of the songs from an album, are they still downloaded?

When an album is downloaded. If I hide some of the songs, are they still downloaded on my phone?

Yes, if you've downloaded a playlist and have some songs hidden, they'll stay downloaded. So once you unhide them you'll be able to play them, even if you don't have an internet connection 🙂

Seems a bit bizarre.  Why would anyone hide a song and still want it taking up valuable hard drive space?  Since there is no "delete" option, "hide" is the only choice.  But removing the song requires removing the entire playlist/album?  Please allow an option to download individual songs, this would makes things SOOOO much easier!

It seems the content you're trying to access to it's no available. No worries, if you want to, you can submit a new idea in which you describe what you'd like to see implemented in the app (in this case, the possibility of download individual songs). You can follow these steps to do it. 

Take into account it’s better if you describe with as many details as possible what you want to see. Don't forget to check for existing ideas first. Keep in mind that you must follow the guidelines for submitting ideas, so your suggestion will be approved more quickly and smoothly.
