My Question or Issue
On both Android Mobile, as well as desktop, when I look at my live events tab i cant find anything for recommended artists .. is the lack of showing concerts for artists i listen to a new feature or is this a bug?? It only shows recommended venues and popular artists and then a tab for all concerts near me ...
Hey there @lmyungsoo,
Thanks for reaching out!
You should be able to see event recommendations. However, this section might not appear or show anything if there aren't any upcoming concerts from your following artists.
Have you noticed any specific artist with an upcoming concert near you that doesn't appear in the feed? It'd be helpful to know so we can check things backstage.
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
I have similar issue since today with the update.
I can no longer see the list of all concerts in my city from artists I follow. Only two are displayed now in the "Just for you" list. Many are missing...
Hey @Redcow82,
Thank you for joining the thread.
We tried to replicate this behavior on our end, but the list of concerts seems to be working fine. To investigate this further, would you mind confirming if it happens on a different device as well? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.
Also, it would be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your device (it could be the same friend or relative) to see if it shows different results.
Hope this helps. We'll be on the lookout.
Hi @Redcow82,
Thanks for your reply and for checking!
At Spotify, we're often testing and launching improvements to the app. This means you might occasionally see something your friend doesn’t, or get a new feature to try temporarily. Your feedback on this is important, thanks for sharing it here - we appreciate it.
We'd also recommend making sure you're following the artists you know should be on the list, but aren't at the moment, so you don't miss out on any future concerts in your region.
The Community is always here if something else comes up.
I have the same issue as described here. Previously any new gig from an artist I follow which was playing near me would be in a "for you" section.
However, now there is a "just for you" section which only shows a small handful of the gigs. There were multiple gigs that were in the previous list that are now not showing. The current list also doesn't order the lists in chronological order which is frustrating.
The "for you" feature was one of my favourites but now can't trust it to show all gigs. It was also useful when traveling as could adjust the location and see gigs in that city too. Again I can't trust that the gigs I'm interested in (i.e the ones I already listen to) will be shown.
Thanks

But they all miss most of the artists I follow playing in my city!
And they are indeed not displayed in chronological order...
