I have 2 TCL Roku TVs. The lyrics are no longer in sync-the lyrics actually jump ahead so you cannot even see what is currently being sung.

AND when the titles are very long such as "The Last Time (ft. Gary from the snow patrol)" by Taylor Swift, they squish the letters and I'd prefer if they made it an ellipsis because it is very bothersome. Thank you! VOTE THIS NOW.

Almost 2 years since this thread began and I'm still having the same issue. And yes, my Spotify app on the TV is fully updated.

The problem existe since 2023 i have the last upgrade of 2025, but the problem dont correcto yet.

Hey folks,

Our tech team confirmed that issue should no longer occur in versions 2025.06.02 and above, so make sure you're running the latest updates both for Spotify and your TV. If you haven't already, it's also worth power-cycling the TV after updating to force a system resync.

I’ve noticed this issue since 2022 as well, across every TV app version of Spotify I have encountered.

I am currently using the most updated version of the Spotify app on a Roku TV stick. 

The issue happens like this:

0 - 29 seconds lyrics are in sync. 

29-30 sec, time bar does not go to 30 sec, but skips ahead 20-30 seconds. For example, “When did you get hot” by Sabrina Carpenter goes from 0:29-0:47, while “Opalite” by Taylor Swift goes from 0:29-1:00. Usually most songs are an exact 30 second time jump. Curiously, the audio is not affected; the audio and what is shown visually on the TV is just offset for the rest of the song. 

Other interesting things: if i use the remote to forward or reverse the song in any capacity during the song, it fixes this issue for that song, but the next song will have this issue.
