Massive space between lyrics when shared

Recently whenever i share lyrics on an Android device the space between lines in the lyrics is bigger than before and it takes too much space in the screen. I know this is a temporary feature but i hope this does not go to the final version of the app.

In the pictures there is an example of a single lyric with multiple lines and another example of multiple lyrics

same issue here it looks annoying and unpleasant, whenever i try to share it to my instastory there's always a massive spaces between lyrics

The space between each lyric might have been shortened, but it still doesn't look as good as it used to be, it'd be best to have no space separating them at all. If you want to pick more than two lines, the image gets too big and awkward to look at.

I'm facing the same issue. My Spotify Version is 8.8.66.563 and my smartphone is Redmi Note 8, running the MIUI Global 12.5.2.

Since the newest version was recently released, it's possible that the device still has some damaged cache from the previous versions. In this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

Thanks for the reply! I already tried the clean reinstall but nothing happened, so I asked my friend for help. Her device is the grey one and mine is the pink one. We both have the latest version but for some reason there's a larger gap on my picture, and she also comments that previously the lyrics weren't separated this way for her.

Our Spotify versions are 8.8.66.563 and we both have android devices, my friend's phone is a Samsung A34 and mine is Huawei Honor 9X.

The issue still persists after doing what you said.

I'm on the latest version of the app (8.8.74.652). My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A03, Android 13 and this issue has been going for like, maybe one month. Aside from that, the app works perfectly fine.
