Media controls missing from lock screen

The playback controls have disappeared from my lock screen for Spotify and also Youtube and instead just display the name of the song/video as it shows in the screenshot. Does anyone know how I can get them back?

Thanks for the post.

You can try to resize the widget by pressing down on it. You should see resizing options appear. If you can make it bigger the controls should appear.
