Mini Cooper F56, steering wheel control

Anyone have problems changing music on Spotify from steering wheel? No problem with iTune, but screen shows "Not Possible" if connected via bluetooth/USB: External Device or "[song title]" if connected via USB: Spotify.

I recently tried clean reinstallation of spotify on my iphone but still show error.

I have an Android phone and have the same issue. Would love to know spotify's response if they email u back. Thanks
