[Mobile] Recommended while listening own playlist

Solved!

[Mobile] Recommended while listening own playlist

Suddenly (I blame update) Spotify started playing Recommended songs on mobile app (have not checked desktop version) while listening carefully selected songs in my own playlist.

Where do I unselect this feature? As it was as usual week ago. Only selected songs in my playlist

Hey @Vasyakha,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Apologies for the confusion, what you're seeing is our current experience for free users. It's not possible to prevent recommended songs being added to your playlists, however we've made sure to forward your feedback to the relevant team.

We hope this helps. Let us know if you have other questions.

This happened to me as well and I'm ready to swap to another music service if I don't get an option to turn that off ASAP.

Nevermind. Figured it out. It's a shuffle mode. Swap between shuffle settings and there is one mode that also shuffles in recommended songs. Sigh

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

First up, could you make sure the Smart Shuffle isn't turned on in your playlist? To turn it off, you just need to tap on this icon until you see this .

If it's turned off, could you let us know if it only happens on your phone?

Also, sending us a screenshot of the playlist where this happens would come in handy. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

We'll be on the lookout.

Hello Eni,

Thank you for stepping in. However I was not able to find this exact icon in my android app. I got only to pause or play as shuffle (as in attached)

But I'll give it a try.

Hello Mikhail,

Generally I'm okay with this workflow. I could always skip recommended song if I do not like in.

However I'm wondering where I could read about this change as this was not a thing before. Only pure my selected songs.
