My playlists won’t properly shuffle music

When I set a playlist to shuffle Spotify doesn’t fully shuffle it. Instead it will play three to four songs in a row from the same artist and/or album.

Why won’t my playlists properly shuffle music?

I have this problem too, I've made a post but have not gotten a response back. I get the same group of songs, specifically older songs I added to the playlist - so I don't really hear the new songs.
