My spotify is updated but the Blend invite link does not work

Even though my spotify is the most recent version, when I click the Blend invite link it just opens the app and doesn't lead me to the blend. Is this an Android thing??

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community! 

When you tap on the invite's link, you should be able to see a pop up in the app where you need to tap on Join. Once you do so, it should navigate you to the Blend playlist. If that's not how it works on your end, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

Also, sending us the the exact make/model, operating system and Spotify version of your device would come in handy.

I have the same issue on ios. My app is updated and so is my phone. Everyone else is able to access the link but I’m unable to. 

were within the limit of participants. I’ve tried reinstalling as well as clearing cache. This issue has been there for a few months now.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!

Instead of clicking on the link, can you try copying it and pasting it in the search bar within the app instead to see if that works? You mentioned reinstalling, but we'd also recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app since it's more thorough. Alternatively, if you have another device available (a PC, for example), you can ask the person who created the Blend to send you a new invite and try to join from there. This will help us check if it's device-related.
