In the latest Sonos update, the Spotify UI has changed significantly. Essentially the "Home" screen of the Spotify app has been injected into the Spotify app, which is all well and good if you use the predetermined sections to find your music. 

 

I can no longer browse all "Genres" (which was in the old Sonos UI, and is in the Spotify app on the "Search" screen). For example I can't get to a "Jazz" genre any more because it doesn't appear.

 

Has this been removed or am I missing something? I do not wish to use the Spotify app via Spotify Connect - I want to continue using the Sonos app. 

 

Bring back the Genre screen!

I have his exact problem which makes me no longer want to use this product . How do we fix the problem ?

I think you misunderstood the issue here, Guido.

 

The poster, and many more, are complaining about the change that was done. We want Spotify to revert the change.

 

There are long threads on Sonos community forum as well as duplicate posts on this forum about this issue (that browsing by genre and/or mood is not possible any longer),

Guido - this is not me requesting a new feature nor is it a new idea. You have removed functionality from the Sonos app which made Spotify really simple for music discovery. Please put it back!

You'll still need to create an Idea in the Ideas Exchange if you'd like to see something new or would like to see something back.

 

We can't just roll back an update just because two users would like us to. Hope you understand.
