I use Save feature to collect albums and Starred playlist to collect individual songs. Over the years playlist grew to several hundred. Now the new web played removed the Starred playlist. Is there a way to recover the songs so they can be saved to another playlist?

You should be able to recover any deleted playlists at https://www.spotify.com/account/recover-playlists/

Can you check if the playlist still exists in your Spotify app on your other devices?
