Observation about sync problems with Spotify and Squeezebox radios

Squeezebox radios seem to have all kinds of sync problems with Spotify and I have no idea whose fault that might be. But after doing some experimentation I think I've found a way to deal with sync problems between Squeezebox radios.

I think the issue is when you change from one format of audio to another. Say you're listening to radio and then switch to Spotify it will often cause problems like:

* Invalid username and password

* No music playing at all - just stuck completely requiring restart

* and so on

The only thing that seems to stop all this is to pause whatever you're playing before switching to something else. It's the only thing I've found that seems to work unless someone else can enlighten me on what this problem is about.
