Offline Access with Spotify Connect on AV Receivers

Is offline playback supported on any of the Spotify Connect receivers, especially Denon & Marantz?  Streaming at higher quality is killing my data usage so prefer to stay offline.  Assuming there is no storage on the reveiver, can I use a USB thumb drive or similar that is connected?

Alternatively, If I set a network location for downloading tracks, can the receiver access this via the integrated app?

Digging further it seems that this is another spotty area... Onkyo advertises offline access, but I suspect it may be a mistake as hidden in the depths of the Spotify site (and unfound by search) it states that offline is not available with connect.

Bang goes my main reason for premium!
