[PC] Will not play songs

Pc says that it cannot run songs and asked if files can be imported onto the computer to run them.

My Question or Issue

My Pc will not run any songs and displays an error asking me to import files to be able to play the songs. It has not done this before and I have no clue what could have caused it other than an update that had recently been run.

Sorry to hear that you're having such an experience with the app.

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling.

If that doesn't work, can you let us know if the Web player can play music without issue on the same computer?

Just to confirm, does this happen across devices or only on a specific one?

On another note, could you give us more info on what happens when you try listening to your songs?

Lastly, would you mind giving a different internet connection a go to see if that makes the difference?
