I will start off by saying I am a student. I am working towards my GCSE's. With this in mind, I tried to get myself a subscription to Spotify with a student discount. I entered my card details and then it immediately charged me £4.99 - the monthly fee for a student discount. Straight after this, it asked me for my NUS number, which I don't have. I can't find someone to contact about this and I am hugely annoyed. Please can someone get back to me with a solution to this as I am especially worried that they are going to charge me a fiver a month for this - which, me being a student, I cannot afford at all.

Sorry to hear that you're having some account troubles. I recommend reaching out to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Handle @SpotifyCares, Facebook Page Spotify Cares, or through the online contact form.

If you submit the contact form instead of the Twitter or Facebook Message, make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify.
