Payment through phone provider

Payment through phone provider

Hi.

I currently pay for my premium service through my Vodafone account. I want to change phone providers but want to keep my premium account and pay directly from my bank account.

Vodafone say they can't do this and that I have to do it from my Spotify account, but I can't see a way of doing this. 

I have a Premium account in the UK.

Does anyone know how to do this ?

Hi @cook4s!

 

You can totally do that, you just need to cancel your subscription through Vodafone first by reaching out to them directly (since they currently handle your payments), then wait until it expires and your account reverts to Free (You can check that on your Account page; Vodafone should also let you know when your subscription will expire). Once that happens, you can subscribe to Premium directly through Spotify on our webpage.

 

All your playlists, liked songs, saved albums and artists will still remain on your account, so no worries there. You may only lose your downloaded music, since it's only available to Premium users only, but you can re-download it anytime after you re-subscribe.
