Philips DS9100W 015 won't connect.

A few days ago Spotify Connect worked perfectly fine. 

I use Spotify Connect on both my android and my macbook but now it dosen't work on any of those two. The speaker still shows as an available device but it just can't connect. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the Philips speaker cause the airplay function still works. I used to connect from my android reguarly but that's no longer possible and I'm already missing it terribly 😞

Is it true that Spotify no longer supports Philips DS9100W 015? Is there any solution to this? I don't want to buy a new speaker when I already have a functioning speaker.

Hey @kmduus, help's here.

 

First, try restarting all your devices (and speaker). Also, make sure that:

  • All devices are on the same WiFi network.
  • Your Spotify app is up-to-date
  • All devices’ software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturers for how to update the version software.
  • If possible, try switching between different networks and see if that helps.
