Playlist count incorrectly displaying when played through my car

My Question or Issue I have approx 658 songs on a playlist that’s my “commute” playlist. I hook up Spotify via usb, not Bluetooth. The playlist song count started displaying wrong a couple weeks ago. Despite having over 600 songs (downloaded) on this playlist, when the play list starts it’ll say it’s playing 7 of 7, just an example, it changes every time. Every time a song is played, the song count number goes up. So it’ll go from 7 of 7 to 11 of 11 on the next song. Occasionally, it shows over 2600 songs on this playlist but it’s always x of x. It used to be 35 of 658, etc ... I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, that didn’t work. Any ideas?
