Playlist not showing on profile after clicking “Add to profile”


Hi everyone,

I’ve been having an issue where my playlist doesn’t show up on my Spotify profile, even though I’ve clicked “Add to profile.”

Here’s what’s happening:

  • I created a playlist and made sure it’s set to public.

  • I clicked “Add to profile,” but when I check my profile, it’s not showing up.

  • I’ve tried refreshing, restarting the app, and even checking on both mobile and desktop — same issue.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix? I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions!

Hey @ananyshah 

 

To make sure your playlists are set to public:

  1. Open your desktop app.
  2. Right-click the playlist or click the three dots.
  3. Select Make Public to show it on your profile. 

For more details on privacy, you can check this Support article

 

If the playlists are still not displayed on your profile, I'd recommend performing clean reinstall of your Spotify app. 
Just find your device and follow the steps provided in this article.

Thanks for your help! I followed all the steps you mentioned — made sure the playlist is set to public, selected Add to profile, and even did a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on both desktop and mobile.

Unfortunately, my playlists still aren’t showing up on my profile. Do you have any other suggestions I could try?

To troubleshoot this further, can you enable Publish my new playlists on my profile/Playlists appear on your profile in your app's settings, create a new playlist and check if it's visible on your profile?

Thanks for replying! I’ve already tried all of those steps — including enabling “Publish my new playlists on my profile” and “Playlists appear on your profile”, creating a new playlist, reinstalling the app, clearing cache, and logging out/in. Unfortunately, nothing has worked and my playlists still aren’t showing on my profile.

At this point, it really seems like the issue might be on spo side rather than something on my end. Could this please be checked or escalated further?
