Why can't i play diffrent music on my phone and ps4?

Example: my sister is using spotify on my ps4 and everytime she plays a song it will ask if i want to listen to the song on phone or continue to listen to it on the ps4, if i choose to listen to it on my ps4 then i can't listen to anything on my phone without changing the song that's playing on the ps4.

If you'd want to play on both devices you would have to download desired playlist on your phone and then enable offline mode on your phone, then you should have no problems, only thing being you can only listen to those songs you had downloaded.
