Podcast played episodes no longer showing as played

My Question or Issue

Dozens of played episodes on a podcast I listen to almost daily are now showing as unplayed/no progress bar. This is the second time that this has happened in the past several months, making it impossible to find which episodes in the over 100 that are published on the app that I haven't listened to yet. I have not changed any settings and I followed all steps in the previous issue on this topic  (updating the app, logging out and logging back in twice, trying both on iOS and Windows 11) but nothing works. https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Podcast-episodes-showing-as-unplayed/idi-p/6896164. Dozens of played episodes still show as unplayed. This is on the Michael Singer podcast.

To investigate this further, can you let us know the following:

• Have you played the episodes on a specific device (e.g. smart speaker)? If yes, does playing them on a different one change their playback status?
• Have you tested with other podcasts?
• Do other users on your Basic Family plan have the same issue with this particular podcast?

In the meantime, feel free to try unfollowing and following the podcast to see if that changes anything.
