I am facing the same problem with my Venu. I asked Garmin for help and they don't know what could be happening. My solution was to create playlists and add the episodes to them, and then download them to the watch.

I have the same issue as most people in here. Model: Garmin Forerunner 245 Music. Last time the error occured was one minute ago Monday, April 15, 2024, 21:11, Oslo (GMT+2). I've had the problem for a couple of weeks.

I can't download podcast episodes. Afther pressing "add new music and podcasts", and select "podcasts", it shows an outdated list of podcasts. If i press any of the podcasts, either it just "spins" or it says "unable to get content". If try again after it "spins", the issue is not fixed, instead i get the "IQ" error screen and icons look off (library icon disappairs etc). The IQ error etc is fixed again after restarting the watch, but podcasts are just as broken. Please help me fix this, the playlist workaround is really not ideal.

I've also asked Garmin for a solution, which they seemingly managed to give some people half a year ...

I have also tried all the steps that original asker has tried and your steps as well, It still does not work.

The certain podcasts that are missing will simply not show up in "podcasts" when you go to add more music or podcasts to your garmin watch spotify library, there is no error message. I even tried adding an episode from the podcast in question to a playlist of songs that I actually can see and add to my watch. There were 4 songs on the playlist and the 5th item was the podcast episode, when syncing the playlist it would sync up to 80% (Showing incremental changes in the percentage) then just skip the rest (I believe this is sort of 20% per item? So its not even trying to sync the episode but it does think theres something there)

The podcast I was trying to download in question is "The Infinite monkey cage by brian cox" incase that could help with replicating our issues, maybe its a different audio file/codec or something like that?

Regardless, listening to podcasts is priority numero dos for a smartwatch for me personally behind recording runs, so pretty please make this high priority to fix 🙂
