Popup won't let me use web player

My Question or Issue

I haven't been able to use Spotify's web player due to a popup prompting me to get Spotify premium- the only buttons that can be interacted with are "Subscribe" or "Log out". There isn't one that'll let me close the popup and use the web player, and playing ESC doesn't do anything, either. Can anyone help with this issue?

I used Safari for the below screenshot, but I ran into the same result when I tried google chrome instead.

Can you let me know if you're using a VPN? Also, could you check your emails to see if there are any emails about confirming your Spotify account?
