Problems connecting from the web player to Chromecasts

Has anyone expirinced any problem while connecting from the web player to the Chromecast? I couldn't connect to it.

I've been having the same problem for weeks. When using the Spotify web player, Chrome sees my Chromecast device and gives me the option to connect to it, but when I click, nothing happens. Meanwhile, from the same computer, everything else (Pandora, YouTube, etc.) streams to my Chromecast without a hiccup.
