Problems with bluetooth headphones and Windows 10 app

So, about 2 months ago I got myself a pair of JBL's bluetooth headphones and they have been working just fine. A couple of days ago I started noticing that when I connect them to my laptop - Spotify app won't stream at all - it just says that i have no internet connection, and of course, I can't connect to anything else that requires internet at that moment. As soon as I disconnect the headset - everything works perfectly. I already tried re-installing the Spotify app, as well as connecting the headset to my laptop again, it's still not working. Please help!

Hey!

 

You mentioned not being able to use anything internet related while using your new earphones (Good choice btw). It sounds like an issue not Spotify related. 

 

When you check the Wifi icon has it dropped when connecting your headphones?

Hey! First of all thanks for a quick reply! It is only Spotify related - if
I use my headphones on youtube videos or Soundcloud or even Spotify web
player - works perfectly. The second I launch into the desktop app - wi-fi
is unavailable, Spotify is offline and it won't work. And then of course if
I disconnect the headphones - connects back to wi-fi automatically and
works perfectly.
