I keep getting the error that I can't reset my password after getting the email, going to link, and then typing a new password.

Hi there and welcome to the community!

It sounds like you created your Spotify account using Facebook. Your Spotify password is the same as your Facebook password. If this is not the case just let me know by replying in this thread. 🙂
