Hey @James7x1,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you try reinstalling the app to see if anything changes?

It's also a good idea to make sure that the firmware is up-to-date.

Let us know how it goes.

Hey there @James7x1

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Could you let us know if this happens only with Spotify or with other apps as well?

On another note, we'd recommend unplugging your TV for a couple of minutes > restarting your router > plugging your TV back.

If this doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us a photo of what you're seeing on your end so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

We'll be on the lookout.

Here are 3 samples after restarting the TV. The black boxes do not appear on any other app. The TV streams 4k and 60 fps video just fine too, so I can't seem to tie this to a TCL hardware or software issue since it is only with the spotify roku app.

Reinstalling the app appeared to fix the issue. I suppose the apk became
corrupted during one of the updates. Thank you for your help!
