Roku - screensaver

is there any way to customize the roku screen saver? 

i'd really prefer to be able to have the screen go blank / dark

but in this day and age? a "bouncing" logo type of thing? (yes, i know it's the album info) ... COME ON, that's awful. it's hideous and distracting ... the redraw on it is horrible, it flicker .... gah. 

killing me, totally killing me. 

any hacks or ideas on how to just get my roku / spotifly screen saver to fade to black????
