My Question or Issue
When I search for a song, I can find it but trying to play it generates an error message ('Something went wrong'). Playing a playlist through search still works.

Can you try logging out from your Spotify account, unplugging your TV from power for a few seconds and plugging it back, then logging back in? If that doesn't do the trick, try reinstalling the app.
If the issue persists, try restarting your router.
