My Question or Issue

When I open Spotify app on my Samsung TV I get the error as in the picture below. I can either Close the app or Log out which is weird to me.

I can listen music on my TV only if I connect with phone/PC but only listen while this screen is still there.

Is it because I don't have Premium plan or is it an issue? If it's an issue can you pls advise how to fix this?

BTW at the bottom of screen there's a strange price for monthly plan in strange currency 🙂

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community.


Let us know if this issue persists once you've performed a reinstall on the affected device. We recommend this step since it'll get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and remove any corrupted files from previous installations. 


it's also a good idea to check the country settings on your TV, as well as that of your Google and Spotify accounts. This page can help with the Spotify setting.
