Samsung gear fit 2 pro not showing playlists when in stream on WiFi mode

Hello,

 

I was always very happy with the Spotify feature on the Samsung gear fit 2 pro. But these days when opening Spotify on my watch, (after a little while of "loading") all I get to see is "search" and "settings" when I put the Playback setting to "stream on WiFi". Only if I put the Playback setting to "remote" I can see all playlists and stuff.

Hence, I cannot use Spotify on my watch with my Bluetooth headset when working out, so it's useless.

 

  • I have a premium account
  • WiFi is switched on
  • I tried un- and re-installing the Spotify app on my watch several times
  • I did a factory reset on the watch and re installed Spotify
  • I am running the most recent Spotify version on my watch which is 1.1.24
  • I am running the most recent os version of the gear fit 2 pro which is R365XXU2CRC7


I did not have these issues prior to the recent firmware update. Samung support, however, tells me to get in touch with spotify!
