I'm trying to set up a Spotify device username and password. The email address Spotify is trying to contact is correct and I have recieved emails from Spotify in the past but I haven't gotten an email to set the device password in 6 hours. I have checked my spam folder and it's not there.

I'm having the same problem. I have an account created with facebook but now need a device password to use with a device. I've been to the support link and it sends me in circles. Tells me to check the forums or twitter. I just need the device password or to speak with a person by email and not an automated message. Any help would be nice.

You should be able to type in your Facebook email and password to login on the device.
I use a Onkyo TX-NR609
tried to login with Facebook credentials: does not work
tried to login with spotify username (digits only) and facebook password: does not work
tried to requeste password reminder for device: does not work
these were the suggestions of Spotify support. Useless.
I did check spam folders: nothing found
I have a 3 person family account.
