Show all podcast episodes sorted by newest first on desktop

Podcasts on desktop are nearly unusable because it only displays shows I follow. An experience like what you have on mobile that shows all podcast episodes sorted by newest episodes first would hugely improve the desktop podcast listening experience!

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

We've moved your post from Ideas to a relevant Help board, since it's not quite clear what you'd like to see implemented.

It's already possible to sort podcast by newest to oldest in the desktop app. You just need to go to the podcast profile and you'll see a dropdown menu on the right just above the episodes list.

On another note, can you let us know which section specifically you're referring to when you said ''it only displays shows I follow''?

Yes, we don't want to have to go to a Podcast profile. We want the option to view episodes from all followed podcasts. So if I follow three podcasts, my stream would look something like this:

Today's Episode (from Podcast 1)
Today's Episode (from Podcast 2)

Yesterday's Episode (from Podcast 3)

Yesterday's Episode (from Podcast 1)

Last Week's Episode (from Podcast 2)

Where each episode is there in chronological (or other sortable options) order but includes episodes from all followed podcasts. 

Then if I push play, it would cycle through all of my podcasts playing them in my preferred order.

By the looks of things it seems you're using the Web Player and not the desktop app! 
The Web Player has a limited functionality, which is why it does not include the options you're looking for 🙂
