Hey there @nehamodi1406,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

We'd like to add some insights first. Keep in mind that this it'd be expected if the Autoplay feature is enabled, you've reached the end of an album, playlist, or selection of songs and the app is playing recommendations. The tracks added to the queue cannot not be shuffled, as those are randomized suggested songs. On the desktop app, you'll see both the shuffle and repeat buttons grayed out. On mobile, it'll only be the shuffle one.

 

That being explained, we'd suggest you start by checking if the app is playing recommended songs. On mobile, you'll see Playing Recommended Tracks at the top of the Now Playing view.

 

If the issue persists regardless, we'd recommend reinstalling the app to see if you notice any difference. If not, it'd be awesome if you could send us the following:

  • The make/model and OS of the affected device.
  • The exact Spotify version you're running.
  • Did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update?
  • Does this happen across different devices?
