Similar Artists

Hi!

One way to improve content, help listeners and boost listening for up coming bands is to improve the information about similiar artists.

I often find that new or small bands only have similiar artists based on location rather on the sound of their music (maybe because they belong to a certain social community?). I realise this can be hard to administrate but if you improve this functionality everyone will be happier.

Ways to improve

You could show influenses in the same way as you do for similiar artists. For instance, if there was an influenced by/followed by page as well (as in allmusic.com), listeners who like the band: Rome is not a town could find their way to Sonic Youth and vice versa.
