Smart TV Application (Vizio)

Hello,

Up until about last week the Spotify app on my vizio smart tv was working perfectly fine. But a few days ago it stopped loading my playlists and messages.

The app opens and shows the "what's new" page and allows me to search and play music but the app won't load any of my playlists. Also when I go to open the messages the app freezes and I have to close it.

Anyone have this happen to them? Or have any ideas on how to fix it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Mine is working now! And furthermore, when I opened up the Spotify app on my TV, it gave me a message that the app would be removed soon. So I did a little digging, and they are removing the Spotify app from certain brands of TVs. Vizio doesn't appear to be one.

did it say that vizio was one of the brands being removed?

great to hear that it’s working for you now!

i also found a fix to the problem recently - just play any song from the tv app and then try to add it to an existing playlist. when you do that, it automatically pulls up all your old playlists!
