[Social] I want to be able to share a jump-link for specific second in a song/podcast

Began to listen to podcasts lately, and wanted to share it with my wife,

problem is its a long podcast (1hr) and I want her to listen to it from a specific second.

Instead of sending her multiple datas (link+text - listen from minute 2:34 etc'...) I would like to send the spotify link to the podcast which upon opening will open the podcast for her and jump to that moment in time (second) I wanted her to listen.

This is a must.

YouTube has it also but their feature sucks and not compatible on every device, not comparing the platforms of-course..

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

That being said, we're happy to confirm this is already possible from the mobile app version 🙂 

To share a timestamp, you just need to tap the “share” button while listening to the episode. Then, use the “switch to share” feature at the current playtime, and then select where you want to share the content to. Those on the receiving end just need to tap the shared link to jump right in and start listening.
