Song from Discover Weekly Turned Gray

This morning I went to play one of my favorite songs from last week's Discover Weekly playlist, however it had turned gray and is no longer playable! I understand Spotify uses liscenses to provide its content however this artist is an independent producer so I'm a little confused about the situation. Any clarification would at least put me at ease though I will miss this song if I can't get it back through Spotify
