Songs Wont Play

I never had any issues with spotify, and now suddenly whenever I go to click on a song, the song wont play, It just sends me a blue banner message that says "This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import in." And it does the same thing whenever I go to play a playlist, all the songs keep shuffling, but nothing plays.

Old spotify bug on Windows ...

Seems spotify techs cannot solve it, started in feb 2016.

I have found a solution which solved this problem for me.

NB Seems that a power off and on MUST be done; restarting services is not enough.

Hey guys!

It's not cool that this is happening. If you could let us know the device, operating system and Spotify version you're using would be great. If possible, send us some screenshots to take a closer look. 

Just to make sure, did the the steps provided by @farsanrolle worked? Also, if you haven't tried it before, a clean reinstall with these steps could be useful.
