Songs keep pausing and won’t play unless I restart the app.

As I’m listening to music in my phone the music has been pausing and there is no explanation to why. I’m not on my phone and it’s just supposed to be playing, and no incoming call. I try to press play but the only way I can get it to play is either restating the app or pressing the song on my playlist. Also when I’m offline all my songs are downloaded, and I know they are since I’ve personally listened to every single one when I’m offline. But now it only plays some and grays out some. But it says they are all downloaded?

These issues could be caused if some app data/ cache got corrupted. I'd recommend you do a clean reinstall of the app. Follow the steps in this guide for your device, to clear everything before reinstalling Spotify.
