Sonos resuming old Spotify stream in the middle of the night

My Question or Issue

As per above, Sonos is randomly continuing an earlier stream from Spotify in the middle of playback. Spotify and Sonos are up to date. We even cleared all streams from the other speakers in the house.

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be glad to help you get the Sonos playback working as expected again.

When did this start happening? Does it matter from what device the playback was being controlled beforehand? If you haven't already, consider reinstalling the Sonos app, clean reinstalling the Spotify app and re-establishing the connection between the two to see if that resolves the issue.
