Sony CMT X7 CDB

Hi All,

Newbie here.  Is anyone using Spotify with a Sony CMT X7CDB wirelessly? SongPal, the Sony App on my Android lets me manage some (inferior) music services Wirelessly, such as Deezer, but I can only get Spotify via Bluetooth from my phone. If I upgrade to premium, will this change? I just don't to rely on a flaky bluetooth connection.

Under the Spotify Help, there is a question "Which Sony devices are compatible?The SRS-X9 and SRS-X7 wireless speakers.". Unfortunately, it doesn't mention the CMT X7 CDB, but the Sony CMT X7 CDB packaging and manuals make reference to Spotify.

Any help gratefully recieved.

Have you found out if this supports Spotify Connect? It's listed here: http://spotifygear.com/type/wifi-speakers/

Just got my self a Sony CMT X7CDB today. Initially it didn't support Spotify Connect, but after a little while it detected an update, and after the update was done, I get the X7CDB listed as a Connect device. Works great! No need for SongPal. You'll have to have premium to use it though.
