Spotify Connect Needs to default to current device!

The spoitfy connect feature is nice in that I can start music on my Sonos speakers using my iPhone and the Spotify app. But, two times now I have started the spotify app away from home, and the app defaults to playing on the sonos speakers in my home (although this isn't clear when on my iphone and no warning is given). Both times, I turned up the volume because I wasn't hearing anything, and both times it went incredibly loud at my home, and woke up my sleeping baby. If there is no way to disable this feature, I will cancel my Spotify account.
