Spotify Connect doesn't show artist name on Web Player

Hello 

I use the Spotify desktop client and the web player to scrobble music data to Last.fm.

This problem started yesterday: when listening to music through the desktop client, the web player doesn't show the artist's name. Only the song title is displayed. How can I fix this?

Is this a new update or a bug? 

It's annoying to have to open the tab to see the name of the artist of a new song I might like. Because this issue also duplicates in the miniplayer. The artist's name no longer shows on there.

Worse still, artist's name only shows in the `About Artist` section of the `Now Playing` sidebar and not in the upper section of the sidebar next to the song name as it used to be before.

Update: definitely a bug because the miniplayer does not show the album art anymore
