Spotify Connect pauses at end of each song

Hey guys,

 

I got an issue with Spotify Connect on my Denon X1200W. If I start playback using Connect and add any song to the queue, every song will pause with 0:00 time remaining and the next will only start once I press skip.

 

So far I've already reinstalled the receivers firmware, reset my router and the receiver and tried different devices (iOS and desktop client). The receiver is connected over ethernet.

Denon fixed the issue with the lastest firmware from July!

I recently started to face the exact same problem (Denon AVR 1300W), not always but most of the times. Regular albums will play just fine, but queued songs are not played automatically, you always have to manually skip to the next track in queue.

Not sure if this is related to Spotify Connect itself or the latest version of the Denon firmware, but any feedback is highly appreciated because this bug is just annoying.

Oh finally someone with the same problem and I thought I was the only one.

 

For now I've solved the issue by rolling back to the previous firmware version. No more issues. Definitely points to the firmware being faulty in my eyes.
