The Spotify menu looks clutered and messy please remove the friends tab or add the ability to remove or minimize the side tabs like the time bar for music you are listening to music, the friends tab and the side tab on the left.

Hey there @sashabird, thanks for posting! 

You can hide your Friend Activity, by going to View > Right Sidebar (uncheck it) 

Also you can go to Settings > Show Friend Feed (uncheck it) 

For your other suggestion, I believe this idea is pretty similar
