Spotify Premium Family Plan and Amazon Household can't share Echo devices

Spotify Premium account with family plan (2 users, wife and me) 

Amazon with Household (2 users, wife and me) 

Costa Rica 

Huawei P30 Pro (both have the same device, running Android)

The problem I'm having is that even though my wife and I share a Spotify Premium account, and an Amazon account with a shared Household... Only one of us can see Echo devices inside Spotify. 

If I link the Spotify account in my Alexa app, then I'm the one who can see the Echo devices... but my wife can't. 

If she then unlinks and links her Spotify account, she can immediately see our Echo devices, but I can't. 

In the Alexa app, there's a message inside the Spotify linked account that mentions if u don't see Echo devices listed I should tell Alexa to "Spotify Connect", but this seems to do nothing.
