Spotify Premium + iPhone 5 + BMW 320d 2014 Music Interface (Bluetooth and USB)

Hi Spotify,

Looks like Spotify App is not compatible with BMW's system.

I can change soruce to Media and select Bluetooth or USB cable and I can hear music.

I also can change the volume on the steering wheel.

I can change the song using the forward and backward button in the middle console (not steering wheel! That is a scroll wheel ...) but that also breaks intermittenty. When it does it helps to disconnect and connect again.

The first song I play is correctly displayed and I can see the album art as well as the title and the progress bar shows correctly.

But when the next song starts playing that information is NOT updated!

I keep seeing the same album art, same title etc ... But the progress bar is moving.

As for the little screen behind the steering wheel, that is even worse.

Scrolling to change the song simply shows multiple times the same title and doesn't work.

Can someone look into this please?

BTW Apples Music player is fully compatible ... So if Spotify would use the same method it would also work.

I also read that other clients like Pandora work just fine. So guess the code will need to be updated.

Thanks for looking into this. Spotify users are pioneers in a way and accept some bugs but please don't wait to long to fix it.
