Spotify app for LG Smart tv 2012 models 65LM620T etc

I have LG Smart TV and have asked LG support about when Spotify app will be available?

They "kindly" sent me to Spotify to ask, since according to them Spotify is responsible for developing these apps...

Does this mean there's no sponsoring at all? LG would have economical interest in their TVs being more popular, even the older ones?

I assume Spotify have their hands full developing the apps for other (newer) platforms? Or is there a possibility that it's easy to convert and already developed for a similar platform?

Any feedback appreciated.

I have the same problem on 42LM860V. Two years wating for Spotify app and it never comes...

I think I will switch to Deezer. There is an app for Deezer.
