Spotify for Mac: issues

I've always been experiencing problems with Spotify for Mac. I DO see my playlist section and CAN play my own playlists. But the rest of the menu on the left is not working at all. Basically, clicking on one of these items from the menu only results in a black screen on the right: 


Searching for an artist or playlist also doesn't work so it's all kinda useless. 


I'm on a premium plan, device: Mac Mini 2012 with macOS Catalina 10.15.7. Tried a clean install several times, no result.

We'd suggest you try installing the app in Safe mode. It's also a good idea to try running Spotify as an administrator. Does the issue persist?


If you still experience this issue, you ca try with another account. That way we can check if it's an account-related issue.
